Polk County Flex Service Change Proposal

Cherriots is proposing changes to the Polk County Flex (PCF) to make the service easier to use and more accessible for the communities of Independence, Monmouth, and Dallas.

Proposal summary:

• The PCF would be changed from an origin-to-destination service that requires 24-hour advance reservations to a route with a set path and regular stops throughout the community.
• Some route deviations would be allowed when scheduled 24 hours or more in advance.
• The bus would come approximately every two hours.
• There are two different routing options being considered and we need your feedback on which you prefer.
