Every four months – January, May, and September – Cherriots implements service changes based on input from customers, drivers, other Cherriots employees, and performance monitoring results. The most recent service change occurred in May 2024. The next service change will go into effect on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Details on the service change are listed below.
Route 22 - Kuebler Link
Route 22 went on detour beginning Sunday, July 14, affecting all westbound trips [To South Salem]. The detour removes the route from Battle Creek Rd and Kuebler Blvd. between Battle Creek Rd and Commercial, and Alpha St. The new routing is the same as the Route 6 [To South Salem] between the turn on to 27th Ave to the intersection of Baxter and Commercial (see map below). Route 22 still begins and ends at Commercial @ Baxter (Stop ID 230).
The new routing will serve four additional stops, shared by Route 6

Route 22 - Kuebler Link
Two trips have had schedule adjustments to help maintain connections on weekday evenings with Route 11. The trips that are currently scheduled to depart Truax @ Aumsville (Stop ID 1932) at 9:17 p.m. and 11:17 p.m. will depart at 9:12 p.m. and 11:12 p.m., respectively.

Stops Renamed
■ 2790 25th (Stop ID 1793) [To Downtown Transit Center] will be renamed to 25th @ Aviation Loop (Stop ID 1793).
■ 2775 25th (Stop ID 726) [To South Salem] will be renamed to 25th @ Aviation Loop (Stop ID 726).
These stops will become the new timepoints, replacing the current
timepoints located at Madrona @ 22nd. This change helps riders using the new airline service have a more definitive idea of when the bus will be at the closest stops to the airport.

Route 12 - Hayesville Drive
Road and sidewalk construction on Hayesville Drive is wrapping up
and as part of that work some new bus stop pads were created.

Route 50X - Dallas / Salem Express
Route 50X will have a new stop in both directions placed on Lacreole Drive near Barberry Avenue that will serve the Dallas Aquatic Center, LaCreole Middle School, and surrounding neighborhood.
